WHO WE ARE
​Joining a church can mean many things to many people. Some seek out God and community when they feel they have lost their way, or are seeking a deeper purpose, or are looking for a way to connect to their family. But it is our belief that the Church, at its core, is about finding love and fulfillment through God and God’s work.
At Westside Free Will Baptist Church, we inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds to bring the Lord Almighty into their lives at every moment - moments of joy, moments of despair, and even those moments in between. We are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message with loving patience and kindness
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Mike Spencer and his family have been serving at Westside Free Will Baptist since November 2012. He served as the Associate/Youth Pastor for 8 years before taking on the role of Senior Pastor in 2020. Pastor Mike has a heart for reaching the lost and a strong desire to assist the congregation in living lives that promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a manner that is in accordance with the Scripture. For many years Pastor Mike has enjoyed staying connected to the community by assisting in various outreach efforts. Pastor Mike married his wife Danielle in 1997 and the Lord has blessed them with four children and one grandchild.

My goal as Pastor of the WSFWBC is for everyone to experience the fullness of Christ that comes with knowing Him as their Lord and Savior.
